Jeremy Cowan brings a meticulous and focused approach to serving his clients’ needs, leaving no stone unturned when analyzing legal issues and finding solutions that work.
Since graduating law school and passing the bar in 2016, Jeremy has worked on matters for a variety of clients, from litigation between individuals to commercial transactions worth millions of dollars. Jeremy specializes in intellectual property, corporate, and contract law.
Jeremy earned his juris doctor degree at the University of California, Irvine School of Law where he was a member of the school’s fifth graduating class. As a student, he wrote for and edited the URSA Voice publication, served on the board for the Public Interest Law Fund, advised and counseled clients through the Community and Economic Development Clinic, and performed a variety of pro bono work. As a research assistant, Jeremy also contributed to the American Legal Institute’s Restatement of Copyright.
Prior to law school, Jeremy studied at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Classics. Jeremy’s diligence and attention to detail in reading and understanding complex works enables him with the ability to craft focused and thoughtful legal arguments while deconstructing and analyzing court filings.
Jeremy spends his free time enjoying the outdoors, catching up with his book collection, and spending time with family.
